Rod & Hammer Wild Berry Whiskey 750ml

Rod & Hammer's Wild Berry is a flavoured whiskey from the SLO Stills team in San Luis Obispo, on California's central coast, built on a whiskey base rather than a neutral spirit dressed up with fruit. That base keeps a little grain and oak in the background where most berry whiskeys head straight for candy. The nose is blackberry, raspberry and vanilla; the palate is sweet and jammy, with ripe berry sitting over a soft caramel note; the finish is short and clean. Serve it chilled as a shot, over ice with lemonade, or topped with soda and a squeeze of lime for something long.
