Seagrams Extra Smooth 1.75 L

Seagram's Extra Smooth is an American grain vodka bottled at 80 proof and filtered back toward neutrality, as the category asks. It is a workhorse rather than a showpiece, and the 1.75 litre format says exactly what it is for: parties, punch bowls and a well that has to last the night. The nose is faint, just clean grain and a whisper of citrus. The palate is soft and slightly sweet, with a light mineral edge and very little burn. The finish is short and clean. Use it wherever the vodka is meant to disappear into the drink, a screwdriver, a mule, or cranberry and lime over plenty of ice.
