About this bottle
Sheringham Fresh Rhubarb is a rhubarb liqueur made at Sheringham Distillery on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, a small coastal operation better known for its Seaside and Kazuki gins. Rhubarb is a difficult flavour to bottle, since too much sugar turns it into candy, and the balance here leans tart instead. The nose is stewed rhubarb and pink grapefruit, the palate is sweet-sour with red fruit and a green garden-stalk edge, and the finish is crisp and short. Pour it over ice with soda and a squeeze of lime, top it with prosecco for a spring aperitif, or split the base of a sour with gin.
