About this bottle
Every bottle of Colonel E.H. Taylor Single Barrel bourbon comes from one barrel, chosen on its own merits and aged in Warehouse C — the rickhouse Colonel Taylor built in 1885 at what is now Buffalo Trace Distillery. The whiskey is bottled-in-bond — one distillery, one season, 100 proof, the 1897 law Taylor himself championed. Expect lightly toasted oak, dried figs, and butterscotch on the nose, with sweetness balanced against tobacco and dark spice on the palate. This is an allocation staple that moves quickly when it hits shelves. Drink it neat in a proper glass; single-barrel variation is part of the appeal, so let your bottle tell you what it wants to be.
