Skelly Blanco is an unaged tequila in a 50ml miniature, a single pour and a useful way to try a bottle before committing to one. Blanco tequila goes into glass without time in wood, which leaves the agave itself exposed with nothing to hide behind and no barrel sweetness to lean on. The nose is cooked agave, citrus peel and a little black pepper; the palate is bright and vegetal, with lime, green herbs and a clean mineral edge; the finish is peppery, short and dry.
