Snow Tequila Cristalino Reposado is a rested tequila that has been filtered back to clear, which is what cristalino means: the spirit spends its months in oak, then loses the colour but keeps the sweetness and the soft edges the barrel gave it. The result reads like a blanco and a reposado at once, cooked agave and black pepper up front, vanilla and light caramel underneath, and a clean warm finish with a sweet agave echo. It is an easy bottle to hand to someone who says they do not like tequila. Serve it chilled in a small glass, or pour it into a paloma with grapefruit soda and lime.
