Springbank Local Barely Single Malt Scotch 11 year 700ml

Springbank Local Barley 11 Year is a Campbeltown single malt made from barley grown on farms near the distillery, an annual release that shifts with each harvest and each batch of casks. Springbank floor-malts all of its own barley and bottles without chill filtration or added colour, which is why these pours carry so much texture. The nose is coastal and oily, with brine, damp hay and orchard fruit; the palate is thick, running through barley sugar, lemon oil, a low peaty smoulder and a mineral streak; the finish is long, salty and dry. Add water a few drops at a time and drink it neat.
