Suenos Global Reposado is a blue agave tequila rested in oak, the stage where cooked agave picks up colour and a layer of sweet spice without losing its shape. Reposado is the middle ground of the category, and it is where most agave spirits become approachable to whiskey drinkers: barrel sugars soften the pepper, but the vegetal core is still there underneath. The nose leans vanilla and toasted oak, the palate brings caramel, baked apple and cinnamon over cooked agave, and the finish carries a warm oak note. Pour it neat in a copita, over a single cube, or in a tequila old fashioned with orange.
