Suntory Haku Yuzu 750 ml

Haku is Suntory's vodka made from Japanese white rice and filtered through bamboo charcoal, which is why it drinks softer and faintly sweeter than the wheat and potato vodkas most bars stock. This expression adds yuzu, the aromatic Japanese citrus that sits somewhere between grapefruit, mandarin and lime, and it lands on the fragrant side rather than the candied one. The nose is yuzu peel and mandarin, the palate is bright citrus over that gentle rice base, and the finish is clean with a small bitter twist from the pith. Serve it very cold in a chilled glass, in a soda highball, or shaken into a citrus martini.
