Tatratea Bohemian Tea 750 ml

From the High Tatras of Slovakia comes Tatratea Bohemian, a black-tea liqueur bottled at a serious 62% ABV. Producer Karloff builds it on brewed mountain tea and forest fruit — blueberry above all — then layers in caramel sweetness that keeps the strength in check. Steeped tea and burnt sugar open the glass, dark berries and warming spice follow, and the finish carries peppery heat with lingering fruit. Slovak mountain huts pour this style as a shot against the cold; at home it does clever work in a hot toddy or split with lemon and honey over ice. Chill it well, pour it small, and share it slowly.
