About this bottle
Tequila Comonford Añejo is a blue agave tequila that has rested in oak long enough to earn the añejo designation, which in Mexico means at least a year in barrel. That time softens the raw edge of the agave and walks the spirit toward the whiskey end of the spectrum without burying what it was made from. The nose leans cooked agave, vanilla and dried orange; the palate fills out with caramel, toasted oak and a little baking spice; the finish is warm and gently sweet, with the agave pepper still audible underneath. Serve it neat in a glencairn at room temperature, or over one large cube after dinner.
