Tequila Ocho Single Estate Añejo La Mesa 2025 is a vintage añejo tequila from one high plateau in the Jalisco highlands. La Mesa — "the table" — sits around 2,200 meters on sandy, mineral soil, and that altitude gives the agave a bright, citrus-and-herb character that carries through even after a year in oak. Ocho bottles a single field and a single harvest at a time, so this is specifically the 2025 La Mesa crop, not a blend across ranches. Aged about a year in ex-American whiskey barrels, it layers caramel, vanilla, and soft oak over the field's lime peel, green apple, and mint, finishing long and mineral. It's 40%, non-chill filtered, additive-free, and won't be made again once this vintage sells through. Sip it neat and let the highland side show.
