About this bottle
Reserva de la Torre Añejo is a blue agave tequila that has spent a year or more in oak, the threshold Mexican law sets for the añejo designation. That stretch in wood is what turns a bright, peppery spirit into something rounder and darker, closer in weight to a young whiskey while keeping the cooked-agave signature underneath. Toffee, cooked agave and dried orange peel on the nose; caramel, vanilla and oak spice sitting over sweet agave on the palate; a long, warm finish that dries out slowly. Pour it neat after a meal, or over one large cube if you want it opened up a little.
