Terralta Extra Anejo 5 year 750mL

Terralta is made by the Rosales family at Cascahuín in El Arenal, a valley distillery with a reputation among agave drinkers for old-school production and no shortcuts. This is the extra añejo, carrying a five year age statement — well past the three years the designation requires, and long enough that the wood has fully taken hold without smothering the agave that Cascahuín is known for. Roasted agave, dried fig and dark caramel on the nose; toffee, cocoa and oak spice over a savoury agave core; a long, dry finish with wood and plant in balance. Serve it neat, no ice, in a tulip or copita.
