Tesoro Azul Reposado 750 ml

Tesoro Azul Reposado takes the same blue agave spirit as the blanco and rests it in oak, which is all the reposado designation asks for — a minimum of two months, and usually a good deal more. The wood contributes pale gold colour and a sweeter, rounder texture without pushing the agave aside. Cooked agave, honey and vanilla on the nose; butterscotch and soft oak sitting over cooked agave on the palate; a medium finish, warm and lightly spiced. This is the everyday bottle of the three: comfortable neat over a big cube, and better than a blanco in anything stirred rather than shaken.
