Tezcazul Reposado Tequila 750ml

Tezcazul Reposado is the rested version of the house blanco, held in oak for the months that the reposado designation requires. Short barrel time is a balancing act: too little and nothing changes, too much and the agave disappears under vanilla. Done right it gives pale gold colour and a rounder mouthfeel while the plant keeps its voice. Cooked agave, vanilla and dried apple on the nose; caramel, soft oak and gentle pepper on the palate; a medium finish that stays sweet and closes warm. Drink it over one large cube, or build a tequila old fashioned and let the wood notes do the work.
