The Distillarium No Mans Whizkey 750ml

The Distillarium No Mans Whizkey is a 750ml whiskey with a deliberately odd name and very little else declared on the label: no age, no grain bill, no named distillery. What that leaves is the liquid, and it lands in familiar territory for cask-aged whiskey. The nose is vanilla, light caramel and dried cereal; the palate is soft, with butterscotch, baked pear and toasted grain; the finish is short and carries gentle oak spice. It is built for pouring rather than studying, which is not the worst thing a bottle can be. Serve it over a large cube, or let it carry an old fashioned with a heavy orange twist.
