The Lost Explorer Tequila Blanco No. 1 is an unaged tequila made from Weber blue agave grown in Jalisco and bottled clear, straight from the still, so nothing stands between the drinker and the plant. Blanco is the most honest expression of tequila for exactly that reason: no barrel to soften a rough cut or lend borrowed vanilla. The nose is cooked agave, lime zest and white flowers; the palate is sweet agave up front, then green pepper, citrus and a touch of mineral salt; the finish is clean, peppery and dry.
