Tierra Sagrada Plata Tequila 750ml

Tierra Sagrada Plata is the unaged expression from the Jalisco house, bottled without time in wood so the agave has nowhere to hide. That is the useful thing about a blanco: it is the clearest read you get on how the agave was cooked and fermented, since there is no oak layered over the top of it. The nose is cooked agave with citrus and a faint mineral note; the palate opens sweet and vegetal, then black pepper and lime arrive; the finish is clean and peppery. Drink it neat at room temperature with a slice of orange, or build a margarita where the tequila leads the lime.
