Tormore Blueprint Bourbon Barrels 10 year 700 ml

Tormore Blueprint Bourbon Barrels is a ten year old Speyside single malt from a distillery that spent most of its life feeding blends before its owners began bottling it in its own right. This release is matured in ex-bourbon barrels, the cask type that lets Tormore's light, clean house spirit speak clearly instead of burying it under sherry. The nose is vanilla, green apple and barley sugar. The palate is malty and gently sweet with pear, honey and a dusting of cinnamon, and the finish is medium length and dry. Drink it neat at room temperature, or with a splash of still water to open the orchard fruit.
