Uncle Chicken’s “Sippin’ Whiskey” Bourbon 750 ml

Uncle Chicken's Sippin' Whiskey is a bourbon released under a small independent label, and it is named for exactly what it is meant to do, which is get sipped rather than shot. Like all bourbon, it is made from a corn-led mash and matured in new charred oak, and that oak is where the color and most of the sweetness come from. Expect a nose of vanilla, corn sweetness and toasted oak, a palate leaning caramel, baking spice and brown sugar, and a warm finish with a little char at the end. Pour it neat or over one big cube, and it will hold up in an old fashioned.
