Rye brings pepper and dry spice where bourbon brings sweetness, and at full strength those notes arrive with real force. The nose is baking spice, mint and dark caramel. The palate is thick and oily, with black pepper, cocoa, dried orange and a wave of oak, and the finish runs long and hot.
