Ungava Gin is a Canadian gin from Domaine Pinnacle in Quebec, distinctive for its naturally bright yellow color, which comes entirely from the six Arctic and sub-Arctic botanicals used in place of standard European gin ingredients: cloudberry, crowberry, Labrador tea, Nordic juniper, wild rosehip and arctic blend rose root. Because it skips imported citrus and coriander, it tastes noticeably different from a London Dry — floral, slightly tart, and less piney than a juniper-forward style. Expect a floral, herbal nose, a tart palate carrying the cloudberry and rosehip, and a clean, slightly bitter finish from the Labrador tea.
