Venga Anejo 750 ML

Venga Anejo is an anejo tequila, which by law means it has spent at least a year in oak barrels no larger than 600 liters. That year is what turns a clear spirit amber and trades some of the raw agave bite for vanilla and caramel, though a well-made anejo keeps the cooked agave underneath rather than burying it. Expect a nose of vanilla, baked agave and toasted oak, a palate of caramel, dried fruit and soft spice, and a warm, gently sweet finish. Pour it neat in a copita or a glencairn, since anejo rarely needs ice and never needs a mixer.
