Veuve Clicquot Vintage Brut 2015 750ml

Veuve Clicquot Vintage Brut is made only in years the house considers worth declaring, so unlike the Yellow Label it draws entirely on a single harvest, in this case 2015, and spends considerably longer on its lees before release. Pinot Noir leads the blend, as it does across the house, giving structure and orchard-fruit weight. The nose is baked apple, brioche and toasted nut. The palate is fuller and rounder than the non-vintage, with quince, citrus zest and a fine bead, and the finish is dry and long. Serve it cool in a white wine glass, with roast chicken or hard cheese.
