Vista Tequila Añejo 750ml

Vista Anejo is an anejo tequila, matured at least a year in oak as the category requires, and that time in barrel is where the amber color and the vanilla-and-caramel layer come from. All tequila starts with cooked blue agave, and the wood softens the vegetal edge of the raw spirit without erasing it entirely, since a good anejo still tastes like agave underneath. Expect a nose of vanilla, cooked agave and light oak, a palate of caramel, dried apricot and cinnamon, and a warm, rounded finish. Drink it neat in a copita or a glencairn, at room temperature, with nothing added.
