Vista Tequila Reposado 750ml

Vista Reposado is tequila rested in oak for somewhere between two months and a year, which is the definition of reposado and the middle ground between the bright agave of a blanco and the wood-heavy character of an anejo. That short rest takes the sharp edges off without turning the spirit into a whiskey substitute. The nose gives cooked agave, vanilla and a little citrus. The palate is soft and mid-weight, with caramel, baked pear, pepper and light oak, and the finish is warm and slightly sweet. Sip it neat, or use it in a margarita or paloma where some barrel character helps.
