Viva Agave Reposado 1 L

Viva Agave Reposado is tequila rested in oak for at least two months, the category's middle step between the bright, peppery blanco and the wood-driven anejo, and this one comes in a full liter. The short rest rounds the spirit off without stripping the agave out of it. The nose is cooked agave, vanilla and citrus peel. The palate is smooth and mid-weight, with caramel, cooked pear, cinnamon and a touch of oak, and the finish is warm and lightly sweet. Sip it neat if you want to read the barrel, or pour it into a margarita or paloma where the liter size earns its keep.
