Volando Reposado 750 ml

Volando Reposado is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila rested in oak, the category's middle ground between the raw brightness of a blanco and the deeper colour of an añejo. Time in barrel softens the pepper and adds a layer of sweetness without hiding the agave underneath. The nose shows cooked agave, vanilla and light caramel; the palate follows with baked apple, cinnamon and gentle oak; the finish is warm, softly sweet and dry at the very end. It works either as a sipper or as the base of a drink that needs some weight behind it. Pour it over one big cube, or build a tequila old fashioned.
