Volcan Tequila Blanco Tahona 750 ML

Volcan Tequila Blanco Tahona is made in the highlands of Jalisco from 100% blue Weber agave, produced by Volcan de mi Tierra, the tequila brand co-founded with input from soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. The Tahona designation refers to the traditional volcanic stone wheel used to crush cooked agave before fermentation, a slower and more labor-intensive method than modern roller mills that many producers have phased out. That process, combined with brick-oven cooking of the agave, gives this blanco a fuller, earthier texture than a mass-produced silver tequila, with citrus and black pepper riding on top of a deeper agave core.

Sip it neat in a copita to appreciate the tahona-crushed agave texture — this isn't a bottle meant only for shots. It also makes a noticeably richer Paloma than a standard blanco, since the extra body holds up against grapefruit soda.
