Bottled in bond is the strictest designation on an American whiskey shelf: one distillery, one distilling season, at least four years in a federally supervised warehouse, and exactly 100 proof in the bottle. Coming from a single barrel, it shows that cask's own character rather than a blended average, with caramel and vanilla on the nose, then a firm palate of oak, baking spice and toasted grain held together by the proof, finishing dry and long. Drink it neat, or over one large cube.
