William Wolf Straight Rye Whiskey 750 ml

William Wolf Straight Rye is the spicier half of the brand's pair of straight whiskeys. Straight rye means a rye-majority mash bill, at least two years in new charred oak, and nothing added afterwards, no coloring and no sweetening. The nose leads with black pepper, dill and a little mint, the palate turns to caramel and baking spice with a firm dry grain note running through the middle, and the finish is peppery and clean rather than long. It has the backbone a rye needs to survive a cocktail. Stir it into a Manhattan or a Sazerac, or drink it neat over one cube.
