Clutch is Wohlfert Craft Distilling's coffee liqueur, and it sits at the darker, less syrupy end of the category. A coffee liqueur lives or dies on whether the roast comes through the sugar, and this one leads with it: roasted bean and cocoa on the nose, then a palate of dark chocolate, brown sugar and a bitter espresso edge that keeps the sweetness in check, finishing warm with the coffee hanging on.
