Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Sweet Oak Bourbon 700ml

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Sweet Oak is a release from the distillery's annual experimental series, the line where Woodford's master distiller changes one variable at a time and bottles the result in limited numbers. As the name suggests, the focus here is wood and the confectionery side of oak maturation rather than the spicy side. Expect a nose of vanilla bean, maple and toasted grain, a palate that leans into caramel, honeyed corn and soft baking spice, and a finish that stays sweet while slowly drying out. Drink it neat at room temperature so the oak character has room to show itself. Water is optional.
