Lalo Blanco Tequila comes from Eduardo 'Lalo' González, grandson of the man behind Don Julio, and it is a study in restraint: 100% blue Weber agave, additive-free, unaged. Made in Los Altos de Jalisco from just three inputs — agave, Champagne yeast, and deep-well water — it keeps the spotlight on the plant itself. Expect bright cooked agave, citrus, and white pepper with a clean, crisp finish and no manufactured sweetness. Bottled at 80 proof, it drinks well on its own but was really designed to be mixed.
