Old Line Double Oak Series 750ml

Old Line Double Oak is an American single malt from a veteran-owned distillery in Baltimore, Maryland, made entirely from malted barley. Double oaking means the whiskey spends time in a second barrel before bottling, which stacks another layer of wood on top of the malt rather than replacing what was already there, and it tends to push a single malt darker and sweeter without flattening the grain. The nose runs to honey, toffee and baked apple; the palate is malty and full, with vanilla, dark chocolate and toasted oak; the finish is long and warm, closing on caramel and dry baking spice. Pour it neat, or over one large cube after dinner.
