Oakpacker Air Edition American Single Malt Whiskey 750 ml

Oakpacker Air Edition is an American single malt whiskey, a young but now formally recognised American category made entirely from malted barley at a single distillery. That puts it close to scotch in raw material and closer to bourbon in oak, and American single malts tend to come out bolder and sweeter than their Scottish counterparts because of the wood they meet along the way. Expect a nose of malt, honey and dried orchard fruit, a palate of biscuit, toffee, cocoa and a warm oak spine, and a finish that runs long and lightly drying. Drink it neat, adding a few drops of water if the oak runs hot.
