Acre Largo Blanco 750ml

Acre Largo Blanco is an unaged blanco tequila, bottled clear and without time in wood so the agave arrives unshaded by oak. Blanco is the most exposed expression a tequila house makes, since there is nowhere for rough spirit to hide, and this one runs to the style's familiar shape. Cooked agave and cracked white pepper lead the nose, with a lift of citrus peel behind them. The palate is sweet and vegetal, green herbs and a faint mineral note running underneath, and the finish is short and clean with a light peppery warmth. Serve it chilled in a small glass, or build it into a margarita, paloma or ranch water where the agave should stay audible.
