Alpine Distilling AngeVert Herbal Liqueur 700 ml

AngeVert is a green herbal liqueur from Alpine Distilling in Park City, Utah, a small mountain producer working in the tradition of the monastic herbal liqueurs of the Alps, where a base spirit is macerated with a long list of botanicals and bottled sweet, bitter and aromatic all at once. The nose is mint, anise and pine with a honeyed lift behind it. The palate is sweet up front, then turns herbal and faintly bitter with wormwood, citrus peel and green cardamom, before a long, cooling finish that leaves the mouth tingling. Drink it cold and neat as a digestif, mix it with tonic over ice, or use it where a recipe calls for a green herbal liqueur.
