About this bottle
Amaras Joven Espadin is a mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico, made from 100% Espadin agave and bottled unaged as a joven expression. Amaras is known almost as much for its packaging as its liquid: each bottle is hand-shaped from local clay by artisans in a different Oaxacan community, making every bottle in the line technically unique. The mezcal itself follows traditional production — pit-roasted agave, wild fermentation, and small-batch copper still distillation — giving it real smoke character. Expect smoke and cooked agave up front, with citrus and pepper on the palate, and a long, smooth finish. This bottle suits mezcal drinkers who want both an approachable Espadin and a genuinely handmade bottle to go with it.
How to drink Amaras Joven Espadin
Sip it neat in small pours, the traditional way, with orange slices and sal de gusano alongside. It also works as a smokier alternative to tequila in a Mezcal Margarita.
