Bajarriba Añejo is a tequila made from 100% blue Weber agave and aged in oak long enough to earn the añejo designation, which under Mexican rules means at least a year in barrels of 600 litres or less. That time pulls the spirit toward the sweeter, softer end of agave. Expect cooked agave and vanilla on the nose, caramel, oak and light baking spice across the palate, and a warm finish with a dry pepper edge. It is a smaller label rather than a household name, which is usually where the value in añejo sits. Drink it neat at room temperature, or over a single large cube.
