Bosscal Mezcal Joven is made from 100% Espadín agave harvested in Oaxaca, Mexico, using the traditional palenque process: agave hearts roasted in an underground pit oven, crushed with a tahona stone wheel, fermented in wooden vats, and distilled in copper pot stills. As a joven, it's bottled unaged, letting the roasted, earthy agave character and smoke come through without oak influence. This traditional approach is standard for small-batch Oaxacan mezcal producers and gives Bosscal a rawer, more rustic profile than industrially produced agave spirits.
