Bruxo No 2 Espadin Barril 750 ML

Bruxo No. 2 is an Oaxacan mezcal built as an ensamble of espadín and barril agave. Espadín brings the sweetness and body that make mezcal approachable; barril, a wild agave that takes far longer to reach maturity, adds a wilder, greener edge that the espadín alone would not give you. The nose is wet stone, roasted agave and citrus peel; the palate carries cooked pineapple, green pepper, smoke and a faint herbal bitterness; the finish is dry, mineral and long. Drink it neat at room temperature in a copita, with orange slices and sal de gusano alongside if you have them.
