Casa Don Ramon Tequila Don Ramón Ceramica Special Edition Añejo 750ml

This is Casa Don Ramón's añejo dressed in a hand-finished ceramic decanter — a special edition built as much for the shelf as the pour. Inside is blue Weber agave tequila from Jalisco, aged in oak until it takes on a deep amber colour. The nose is cooked agave, vanilla and toasted oak; the palate turns richer, with caramel, dried fig, baking spice and a whisper of cocoa; the finish is long, soft and warm. The ceramic keeps light off the liquid, which is a practical bonus for a bottle that will sit out. Drink it neat, after dinner, in a wide-bowled glass.
