This is a limited edition single barrel bourbon from Cask and Coast, bottled at cask strength in California — one barrel, undiluted, so what you pour is what the wood gave back. Single barrel releases vary from bottle to bottle by design, and full proof means the flavours arrive concentrated rather than smoothed out. Expect caramel, vanilla and charred oak on the nose, then a dense palate of brown sugar, dark fruit, baking spice and toasted oak, finishing long, hot and dry. A few drops of water will open it considerably. Drink it neat first, then add water to taste.
