CosmicoTequila Extra Anejo 750 ml

Cosmico Extra Añejo is a blue Weber agave tequila held in oak for at least three years, the longest maturation the category's rules recognise. That much barrel time pushes tequila toward the whiskey end of the shelf: darker, rounder, more wood-driven, though the cooked agave should still be readable underneath if the distiller has judged it well. Expect roasted agave, dark caramel and dried fruit on the nose, a palate of toffee, cocoa, baking spice and oak, and a long, slow-fading finish. This is an after-dinner pour. Drink it neat in a copita or a glencairn, and leave the mixers in the cupboard.
