Cutwater Lemon Drop Martini is a canned cocktail built on the distillery's own vodka with lemon, sold in four 355ml cans and served straight from the fridge. It is the bar classic in portable form, sweet-tart and unfussy. The nose is sharply citric, lemon zest and a little sugar. The palate is bright and clean, lemon acidity balanced by candied sweetness with the vodka staying out of the way. The finish is short, tart and refreshing without turning syrupy. Serve it very cold in a sugar-rimmed coupe, or pour it over ice in a rocks glass with a twist of lemon.
