Dona Loca Tequila Blanco 750 ml

Dona Loca Blanco is an unaged blue weber agave tequila from Jalisco, bottled without any time in wood so there is nowhere for the distillery's work to hide. Blanco is the honest end of the category: what you smell is cooked agave rather than vanilla and oak, and the pepper that comes off the still is left in place. The nose is cooked agave, lime zest and white pepper. The palate is sweet agave and citrus with a green herbal streak running through it, and the finish is clean, bright and peppery. Drink it neat in a copita, or use it where a margarita or a paloma needs to taste like agave.
