El Silencio Tamarindo takes the smoky Oaxacan agave spirit that the brand built its name on and layers tamarind over the top. Tamarind is a natural partner for mezcal: its sour-sweet, faintly resinous fruit meets wood smoke the way lime meets salt, and the result sits somewhere between a sipping mezcal and a fruit liqueur.
