About this bottle
George Dickel Bottled in Bond 11 Year spends more than a decade maturing before it is bottled at 100 proof under the 1897 bonding law — one distillery, one season, government-verified. It is a Tennessee whisky from Cascade Hollow, chilled and charcoal-mellowed through sugar maple before the barrel, the step that gives Dickel its clean, flinty signature. The extra age builds a deep pour of sweet caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, with dried fruit and baking spice riding underneath and a hint of the distillery's mineral character. At 50% ABV it holds up over a large cube and stands tall in an Old Fashioned, yet has the years to reward a slow neat pour. Few bonded whiskies carry this much age at this price.
